Where can I buy DMTs without prescription, at my own risk?

The research is showing that early use of DMTs can materially change the long-term development curve of MS.
e.g.

I have VEP P100 latencies 117 and 113, massive fatigue, some bowel leakage, etc, and a sibling with RRMS. But my MRIs 5-6M ago had no visible lesions - so no diagnosis.

Where can I buy some DMTs without prescription? <<<<
I understand there will always be some risk of unexpected side effects but this is a *balance of risk/reward* decision. The risk/reward for me of going on DMTs now is very positive; massive long-term benefit of lower MS development if I am MS, vs side effects very limited. I can always come off the DMTs later if find I don’t have MS.

(I'd ideally go for ocrelizumab - reported very low side effects, and NICE guidance here. https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/ta585/chapter/3-Committee-discussion )

Thanks for any thoughts.

Best wishes

  1. , thanks for sharing this information! This may be an option in some countries, but in the Untied States, it may be illegal to purchase certain prescription medications without a valid prescription. Legality is always something to keep in mind when pursuing any treatment options.

    Thanks again for sharing!

    1. Hi , I do wish it were possible, however, I think legality is the biggest problem. I've discussed the issue in the past (https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/highly-effective-treatments-early), and you are correct, there is a wealth of evidence that starting the highly effective treatments early can make a massive difference in someone's life. Your best bet right now is to fight hard for a diagnosis, to this the best MS specialist that you possibly can.

      1. Many thanks both Erin and Devin; appreciate very much you both taking the time for your thoughtful replies.

        Devin, I'd encourage you to write on the subject again. We need to get upstream in the battle vs MS for the next generation.

        p.s. This an interesting blog today by a leading UK MS academic on how some of his patients are biohacking with off-label meds;

        1. Thanks so much . There's so much evidence that highly effective treatments can make a massive difference. I know if I'd had access to these meds when I was diagnosed, I wouldn't be disabled today (they didn't really exist then, but if they had, I'm sure I wouldn't have been offered them first). It breaks my heart when I see people that not only don't get on these meds early on but even go without any treatment.

          Oh that's very interesting!

      2. Hello, John! As a moderator, I have to answer subjects like these carefully and the previous two comments are valid points. As a straight-talk person with opinions, I'll offer mine. All drugs are complicated, have side effects, and carry risks. They require monitoring and collaborations with other drugs. That said, while meds have great benefits, they can also be toxic in the short and long-term. The same can be said of the "black market" and non-'scripts. Of course, what you do and decide with DMTs are your own choices and risks. Please just do your homework. Warmly, Debbie (Team Member)
