Reflecting on the Holidays and Looking Ahead to the New Year

With Christmas behind us and New Year's around the corner, how are you feeling? How has your holiday time been so far and what are you looking forward to in the new year? Are there any goals, hopes, or small changes you’re thinking about for 2025, whether for your health, mindset, or daily life? Let’s share and support each other as we head into this new chapter together! 🧡

  1. I hope that you have been having a wonderful and fulfilling holiday season, and thank you for starting this conversation! I chose for Christmas to keep everything low -key, there are no children in our families so that makes it a little easier. And on Christmas Day, everyone was so happy seeing the games from our childhoods and just enjoying a day of celebration.

With the new year, my boss of almost 8 years is retiring (early, lucky guy), and I'm not ready for the change. So I'm working on my reframing some more in the coming year, reminding myself that even things that may make me uncomfortable can be very good.

I'm wishing everyone a safe and happy new year! 💜💜

    1. ,
Thank you so much for chiming in. It sounds like you had a lovely holiday.
I'm with you when it comes to change, it certainly can be difficult. I appreciate the reminder that change can be good.
I hope the New Year is filled with wonderful experiences (and welcomed changes).
All my best, Doreen (Team Member)

    2. That sounds like a lovely and thoughtful holiday season! Keeping things low-key can be so refreshing, especially when it’s all about spending time together and reminiscing about childhood games—that must’ve brought back some great memories! As for the new year and your boss retiring, I can completely understand how that might feel a bit unsettling. It’s great that you’re already focusing on reframing and seeing the positives in change, even when it feels uncomfortable. Sometimes, new beginnings can lead to unexpected opportunities for growth and fresh perspectives. Here’s to a smooth transition for you in the workplace and a fulfilling new year ahead! Do you have any particular goals or plans you’re excited about for 2025? -Latoya (Team Member)
