New to this

This is so new to me and I’m so worried. I took a seizure in January after my phosphate was 0.2(coma level bad) but now I’m experiencing numb/tingling hands that just want to return to a claw shape like they can’t straighten fully? But my normals are all normal now. Heart palpitations, peeing more, constant dizziness, so so fatigued, mouth pulling to one side, body twitching/jerking. could I have ms?

  1. Hi . I am glad you found us and reached out. You must be overwhelmed and a bit frightened by the new symptoms. Have you contacted your neurologist since these symptoms began? If not, I would do so immediately and go to the ER if your symptoms worsen. It might be MS, but there are many health conditions that mimic MS symptoms. Some of those conditions might require immediate medical attention, like strokes, for example. Here is an article that lists some of those conditions that your doctor will want to rule out: https://multiplesclerosis.net/diagnosis/ruling-out-other-health-conditions. If you do suspect MS, it might help to understand the diagnostic process. Here is an article that explains it: https://multiplesclerosis.net/diagnosis. I hope you are able to see a doctor quickly and that you get answers and relief. Keep us posted if you are comfortable doing so. Wishing you the best and thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)
