Mental health nor in good place

After been diagnosed in 2021 previously suffered since 2010 with brachial neuritis in which I couldn't feel my arms for 6 weeks and I couldn't sleep at all either. I did eventually recover. Recently my partner left me honey duty my condition has she thought I would have always making it going to the doctors for no reason emotionally destroyed me she's never there she's now freaking with my boss and me working as a chef is very hard to deal with as she is working there to, my boss has subsequently left for another job. being alone facing this along with losing my partner of 6 years has been pretty devastating she is now putting me through court after lying about altercations between each other as she is narcissistic this has left me further in pain. My current flare up has been going on for a year or more now I think.

    1. I have no energy, no one seems to be able to understand what I'm saying I tried Cladramine with no difference in blood results

      1. I feel like my life is over and have no interest in even being here anymore

    2. You have been through so much, . My heart aches for the loss of your relationship. She clearly is someone who would not have been supportive regardless of the obstacles the two of your faced down the line. MS just made her lack of commitment and compassion evident sooner. Your depression is understandable given your situation, but it is also a common symptom of MS that requires treatment. Think about it. MS is damaging the wiring in your brain. It makes sense that it might damage the wiring that controls your emotions as well. The good news is that medications can restore that chemical imbalance and therapy can help you with the situational influences on your depression. It is hard to understand and accept that things can be better when you are in the throes of it, so you just have to believe that things can be better. Please talk with your neurologist about your depression and request a referral to a psychiatrist, preferably a neuropsychiatrist. You deserve so much better. Here is an article from one of our advocates about MS and depression that might interest you and help you feel less alone: https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/depression-anger-sleep.
