What helps me with remitting-relapsing symptoms
I am an artist with MS and find that my work keeps my mind off my illness most of the time, so it's very therapeutic for me. I paint pet portraits as Animal Zone Portraits on Facebook, and also have another page where I post my traditional art at Lambert Art Studio, also on Facebook. The thing that probably bothers me the most is the blurriness that seems to be happening with more frequency as I age with this disease, and the gawd-awful fatigue.
However, having a goal in mind, and a way to get there often takes my mind off what is troubling me. I've learned that I needed to be able to pace myself, because I've HAD to in order to continue to work at what I love doing. I'm 71 now, so I hope to continue to paint for many years to come.
