What A Graduation Gift!
The year was 1992 and I had just graduated from my undergraduate college. The week was full of graduation parties and fun events leading up to either grad school or a much-coveted first leap into the working world. I was no different. I had 4 weeks off between graduation and the start of my first 'real' job. In the depressed economy of 1992, I was feeling very good about my prospects and anxious about getting my career underway.

The feeling in my leg can be described as though I was wearing long pants on my right leg even though I was wearing shorts. This strange ‘heavy’ feeling went away in a couple of days.
At the end of the week I started on a 10-day vacation with friends from school to England and Ireland. This was to be many of our last hoorah before starting work. Everything started out just fine. I was used to extensive travel and, as any busy college student, existing on very little rest.
