Wake up call
I was 27 years old when I went to the dentist and I said to him that I had a numbed face. He told me to go and see a neurologist. I went to see one and told me that I had MS but I was feeling fine. First he told me to take Betaseron and I did. I was feeling on top of the world, I lived in denial during those 5 years having a great job, good money, good relationship. But then I had an epileptic attack at 31 and another at 39. I've started taking Tegretol, Gilenya and vitamin D for MS but at 42 my strength got weaker and I got diagnosed with Secondary Progressive M.S. at 43. Now I'm walking with a frame but I have a beautiful family, a wonderful 3 year old son and a very helpful wife.
