Where are your thoughts?
The way I see it, looking at almost all of the posts, I find a very common obstacle. I have been living with MS since December of '85. What does that make me? Some might think that I am distinguished.
I don't consider myself a prisoner of MS
The truth of the matter is, I am probably less than an average person that got lucky. It's always been as if the harder you work the luckier you get. So, with all due respect and appreciation to anyone that has made a post with some negativity should follow a different path to freedom. I used the word, freedom because I don't consider myself a prisoner of MS but if a prisoner at all, it is because of my own thoughts.
Taking it second by second
I know that MS is a very shrewd disease. In fact, it's a monstrous disease that does differentiate who, what and where. The least we can do is to concentrate on what can I do right this second not in an hour from now. Take it second by second. Don't feel sorry for yourself because somebody somewhere is a lot worse than you are no matter how bad of a condition you have. I can go on and on but my second second is coming up! Take care of yourself, love yourself and know that you are worth a lot more than what they think!
