MS Didn’t “Change” Me. It Made Me Stronger!
Diagnosed in 1984-85 when I had a 6-month-old daughter. I was TOTALLY active riding and showing, and training horses. Then, I had a visit from MS and altered my thoughts in ways of doing daily activities. Took me down swiftly without mercy but I’ve learned that it was just a “hiccup” in life.
What MS has taught me
Taught me how STRONG and that I COULD do whatever I used to do on 2 legs but now with 4 wheels in a chair. I promised my daughter that I’d WALK for her graduation from high school. Took me that long, but I DID IT! I never give up but learn to do the same things in a different way. Paths are not straight, and people are awesome and helped throughout my journey. My bucket list was full before MS. Now, I have a new bucket list to accomplish with the challenges I face daily. Losing is not an option, and strength is within.
