MS @ age 11?
I was having double vision and the eye doctor saw my left eye bouncing up and down slowly. That was when the doctor made a referral to get a MRI.
It was May of 2004 and I was only 11 years. On May 7th, I was diagnosed with relapsing remitting MS. That year changed my life forever.
Medications I have taken goes as follows; Betaseron, Rebif, Avonex, and Copaxone. I just recently began GILENYA (new oral medication) which means NO More Daily injections!!! :)
In 2008 I was diagnosed with Lupus, the couple of autoimmune diseases are very similar in symptoms which makes it difficult for me to know which doctor to go to when there is an issue.
I am 19 years old, name is Jocelyn Lopez, and I am a MS survivor.
