My Story

I was diagnosed in late 1978 about 3+ months after the birth of my oldest daughter. I won't go into everything but I spent 4 months in the hospital some getting stable but mostly re-learning how to walk, talk and write again! I was told I would most likely spend most of my life in a wheelchair. I walked until late '50s, I have never used any treatment other than prednisone and have actually had a pretty mild course of the disease! My youngest daughter was diagnosed almost 2 years ago but she seems to have a more aggressive form of MS.
