Happy 40th Birthday to Me....
Ten days before my 40th birthday I was diagnosed. Lesions were apparent on my MRI that was taken during my hospitalization for Optic Neuritis. I was having an exacerbation that had caused my right eye not to open.
I'd seen a neurologist five months prior because I was starting to forget simple things and I was too articulate plus my coordination had been horrible. He prescribed me vitamins, scheduled me for an MRI but never followed up after I was unable to tolerate a closed MRI. As I think back at least 15 years it explains everything I had been experiencing from weakness on my left side to my eradicate mood swings. To know that something is really happening to me, brings great relief thats its wasn't all in my head.
