Skinny Minnie

I was diagnosed in my mid-50s. In a couple of months, I will be 77yrs. I had almost no symptoms the first five years, after that things got worse. Have permanent drop foot on the left, and this year I have had to use a cane, and even then it very difficult to get around. In my own home, it seems to be easier.

Don't get to do much shopping in the malls anymore, which was one of my pleasures. Fatigue is a big factor. Alertec helps a little. I have taken Copaxone, and Avonex which I was injecting myself. I got up one day and thought - I can't do this anymore. I have had a rough two years since. Things are not good at the moment, but I count my blessings that I'm still able to walk. Blessings to all with MS. Stay positive, that is our best medicine.
