Hi, !
I am sorry your current treatment is working for you anymore. Ocrevus can be a great option, but, like any treatment, what works for one person may not work as well for another, so always keep that in mind. It sounds like your doctor is pretty positive about Ocrevus and it can work wonders, but it's always good to be aware of the potential side effects you may face.
Here's some information on Ocrevus that you may already be aware of -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/treatment/ocrevus-how-well-works-side-effects. Also, here's one person's experience with Ocrevus. Also, here's one of the considerations to think about with Ocrevus -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/caregiver/immunosuppression-ocrevus. Like many treatments for MS, Ocrevus is an immunosuppressant, so that's definitely something to keep in mind. I know a few of our community members and contributors have used Ocrevus and it seems like their experiences fall into two camps. Either it works great and relatively quickly, or it really doesn't work at all and is not helpful. I haven't found too many stories that fall in the middle ground.
I do hope members see your post and share their experiences with Ocrevus, so you can get some helpful feedback as you try to make a decision on your next step in regards to treatment.
Best, Erin, Team Member.
