Eye Surgery vs lazy eye
I am 66 years old and was born with a lazy eye- went to my eye doctor yesterday and he told me that bothh eyes are "lazy" now- I have secondary MS & Parkinsons disease and I now know I had a heart attack maybe 12 years ago when I came forward with MS. They told me then that with the amount of lesions on my brain- I must of had MS for many years and I can remember when I was in second grade I couldn't see the big E on the eyechart, so I suppose maybe when I first noticed problems altho at that time- nobody mentioned it- it just was something that happened! Anyway, I was wondering because stokes are something else that happens in my family- if anyone has any ideas whether the eyelid thing could possibly be a result of MS and/or Parkinsons or whether it could have been a result of a mild stoke- it is just a question, because I'm curious what others opinions are! . We are not medical experts, so we really have any good information about that. I would think the site if the damage would be the most important consideration, regardless of whether it was caused by a stroke or by MS or Parkinson's. The brain is such an unexplored frontier in science. There is so much we still don't know. I am sure it must be hard for you to have no definitive answers.
