Hi,
While not as common, seizures can occur with MS, including gran maul seizures. I wanted to share some pieces from our community members and contributors on this topic for you to check out.
Here's one article on seizures and MS -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/seizures. And here's another article on seizures that I thought you might find interesting -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/manage-fairly-uncommon-partial-complex-seizures. You're definitely not alone in this!
I do hope your neurologist is monitoring this development closely and that you don't experience anymore seizures. But, if you do, please know this community is here for you and we're happy to offer support in any way we can.

I will tell you of my gran maul seizure. I was not driving but my wife was. We were on our way to Camrose to watch our grand daughter play soccer. All I remember was crossing the Red Deer river. I was sitting in the back of our car. My wife was going to tell me something. I did not answer her. She turned around ,I had a blank on my face. She stopped at the Kilm hospital did not know what was wrong. Took me by ambulance to Camrose then to U of A hospital in Edmonton Did numerous tests to find the cause. The doctors realized it was caused by my MS. I came to in three days. I take pills for it now. Never have had any more attacks.

I am glad that the medication seems to be working and again, I hope you never experience another seizure!
