What I find confusing (and aggravating) are the inconsistences in government program support determined by age. I live in GA and am 62 years old. At the age of 60, I was transferred automatically to Senior SNAP benefits. While I was blessed with enough funds prior to the switch, the average Senior benefit is $23 a MONTH for food purchases! Then, I was forced to lose my Marketplace health insurance policy and be put on Medicare (due to meeting timeline of disability). This snowballed into applying for Medicaid along with Dual Coverage health insurance through "many" different choices/companies. Now, my head was spinning, so confusing to have different requirements (age) for different programs. Some I have found are 60, 62, 65, 67, and 67.5 years old. I could go on, but won't.
